‘Advil. Yes’: Avril Lavigne has done a new ad for Uber Eats
Uber Eats are making it very clear you can’t actually order Avril Lavigne, but you can get *Advil* if you need…
Listen to Avril Lavigne team up with country singer Nate Smith on his new “heartbreak ballad”, Can You Die From A Broken Heart.
After spending most of 2024 throwing herself into the pop-punk world once more, Avril Lavigne is dipping her toe back into country.
The Canadian superstar has made a guest appearance on Nate Smith’s new single, Can You Die From A Broken Heart, which is taken from his upcoming album California Gold. It follows the pair’s collab earlier this year, Bulletproof, with Avril sharing that, “Since then I knew I wanted to do more with Nate because we had the best time.”
“Getting the chance to work with one of your all-time favourite singers twice is humbling and such a pinch-me moment,” says Nate (via newcountry1031). “Avril is an absolute powerhouse of a vocalist but equally as a human being. It’s such a joy working with her, and I feel like I’ve learned a lot in the process.
“As far as the song, Can You Die From A Broken Heart is the epitome of what a heartbreak ballad should feel and sound like. The bridge is my favourite part of the song because it’s so epic with the soaring ohs and feels like it gives the slightest nod to I’m With You, which happens to be my favourite Avril song. I think this song will touch hearts in a deep and meaningful way.”
