Album review: We Came As Romans – All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed
Metalcore survivors We Came As Romans continue to bloom on huge, shapeshifting seventh album, All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed.
Due out next month, We Came As Romans have confirmed details of their new album and released its third single, culture wound.
We Came As Romans have just announced their new album, All Is Beautiful… Because We’re Doomed.
The follow-up to 2022’s Darkbloom will arrive on August 22 via SharpTone Records, and the band – Dave Stephens, Joshua Moore, Lou Cotton, Andy Glass and David Puckett – are previewing what’s to come with third single culture wound, out now.
In a collective statement, WCAR say that, “culture wound is about taking a look inside and deciding which side of yourself is going to control your life. This song was written to question our human nature – is it inherently good or inherently selfish? Are we here to try and make something better for everyone or just survive for ourselves? All of the different ‘sides of ourselves’ that we’ve discovered, struggled with, or left behind is really what this album is about, and our journey through all of those experiences is written in every song.”
