Waterlines share new single, Sinister: “It’s my way of spitting out the bile”

Waterlines have unveiled a new single and video, Sinister.

After an impressive display at the latest edition of Bloodstock – and ahead of more shows this summer and going into autumn – the metalcore gang are back with a track about “a time when I felt that I wasn’t the architect of my own life, I felt that my happiness and my sadness were dictated to me,” according to vocalist Ben Mars.

“So, in classic Waterlines fashion, this song is my way of spitting out the bile and taking back the power to choose. To decide when I want to be happy, when I want to be sad, and when I just want everyone to leave me the fuck alone.

“Also I like breakdowns,” Ben adds, relatably, “so there’s that too…”
