Watch Trivium’s Matt Heafy Catch A Crowdsurfer In The Middle Of The Band's Set

While on tour in Europe over the weekend, Trivium frontman Matt Heafy temporarily switched his role as onstage performer to security staff, jumping down to the crowd and catching a crowdsurfer.

"Security was actually doing great tonight, there were just so many crowdsurfers… so I jumped down to catch a dude… then jumped right back into the song!" he tweeted, while on Twitch he wrote: "I jumped off stage and caught a crowdsurfer and jumped right back and got my solo. Haha. Anyone who ever says we don’t care about our fans need to watch this."

Love it. What a total hero.
