Watch This Jazz Group Cover Every Time I Die's Heaviest Song

It's not that sickly smooth jazz your uncle insists on playing, either.

Sure, any new heavy band worth their salt has jammed on a few Every Time I Die tracks for inspiration. But we never expected to hear a free jazz take on their heaviest song.

Make yourself an espresso and watch Los Angeles drummer Corey Coverstone and his ensemble parp and screech their way through Underwater Bimbos From Outer Space, a track taken from their 5K-rated 2012 album, Ex Lives.

Nice.

Now watch Every Time I Die's original version for comparison.

The band have also covered Roman Holiday, from 2009's, New Junk Aesthetic. ETID guitarist Andy Williams took time out from his wrestling to comment, "This is the absolute coolest cover of an ETID song I’ve seen yet. I’m freaking out!"
