Fresh from confirming it last week via an eye-catching teaser video on socials, Alice Longyu Gao and Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes have unveiled their wild new collaboration, Believe The Hype.
The rock titan reportedly reached out to China-born artist Alice after finding inspiration in her work, with the pair then coming together for a massive genre-bending collab and accompanying visual feast of a video.
“I am an inventor,” says Alice of the track. “I am the type of artist that people need to enjoy the awesomeness in person. I am creating exceptional art, and I have to use 95 per cent of my time to fight to be heard, to be seen, and to perform. At the end of the day I just want to make great art that lasts, that nurtures everyone, that heals me. However living in this capitalistic world gives me way too much anxiety, discrimination, and exhaustion. Believe The Hype is a temporary pill for myself to deal with all of that.”

But that’s not all! This time next week, July 6, BMTH will also be dropping their new single sTraNgeRs – with Oli clearly not stopping to have a rest at any point in 2022…
