Album review: Halsey – The Great Impersonator
Halsey experiments and shapeshifts as she tells her most personal story yet on epic fifth album, The Great Impersonator
Halsey has teamed up with BTS’ Suga for a new version of Lilith, which is the ‘anthem’ of Diablo IV.
Halsey has shared a reimagined version of the track Lilith from 2021’s excellent If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power album.
The fresh rendition features a collaboration with BTS rapper Suga, and has been done in aid of the brand-new Diablo IV video game (which is out on Windows PC, Xbox and PlayStation on June 6). In fact, it’s actually Diablo IV’s official new ‘anthem’, and being a fan of both the game and Suga, Halsey is pretty chuffed about it all.
“I’m thrilled that I got to collab with Suga of BTS on a reimagined version of Lilith for the Diablo IV anthem!” she says. “Having spent countless hours in Sanctuary my family, I’m here as both a fan and a collaborator.
“Plus, I’ve always wanted to do a concept with Suga with this type of dark mythology. Hopefully, fans of Diablo, Suga and myself will love Lilith’s embrace.”
