Courtesy of SiriusXm, footage has emerged of Stone Temple Pilots performing with new vocalist Jeff Gutt for the first time.
Recorded at the Troubadour in Los Angeles on November 14, the clips show the band play Still Remains from 1994's classic Purple album and a performance of new single, Meadow. See how he does below.
Gutt is a former member of nu metal act, Dry Cell and a recent contestant on the U.S. version of The X Factor. After the death of original vocalist Scott Weiland in December 2015, Stone Temple Pilots held a year-long search for a new singer. Over 15,000 hopefuls expressed interest in the role, but Gutt emerged victorious among the final 50 auditions.
Stone Temple Pilots have since completed recording their seventh album. It's slated for release in Spring 2018.
