In light of their upcoming album, the Philly four-piece have released a new single with an insane video.
Philly noise rock quartet Mannequin Pussy are amping up the excitement for their upcoming album Patience with a new single Cream and an eccentric music video.
Cream follows the release of critically-acclaimed singles Drunk II and Who You Are, both of which showcase a sound that is the new to Mannequin Pussy, with fewer reckless instrumentals and strained vocals. However, Cream returns to the aggressive style that typically permeates their music, with intense riffs and the unhinged howl of “I was standing in the gates of my hell!”

As usual, the band, who were nurtured by the idiosyncratic Philadelphia DIY scene, expresses themselves through enigmatic sequences. Props to them for knowing how to distinguish themselves from other acts out there.
The video, in the context of all of their cinematography, is not that weird. The video for Drunk II overflows with kissing, crying, smoking, and drinking. You can witness the chaos below.
