Panic! At The Disco and blink-182 set to headline When We Were Young 2025
Yes, and the rest of the Las Vegas mega-fest’s line-up is absolutely stacked, as ever, including the return of letlive.
Machine Gun Kelly stormed this weekend's MTV VMAs with epic performances of my ex's best friend and Bloody Valentine.
Despite MTV having to adapt this year's VMAs to adhere to coronavirus restrictions, it didn't stop the awards show from boasting an absolutely brilliant live performance by winner Machine Gun Kelly.
The musician – real name Colson Baker – teamed up with a couple of his recent collaborators for a VMAs pre-show set, performing on a sunny rooftop with blackbear for my ex's best friend, and blink-182 legend Travis Barker for a nighttime rendition of the pair's infectious single Bloody Valentine.

Speaking of which, MGK also won the MTV VMA for Best Alternative on the night, beating Lana Del Rey's Doin' Time, The 1975's If You're Too Shy (Let Me Know), FINNEAS' Let's Fall In Love For The Night, twenty one pilots' Level Of Concern and All Time Low's Some Kind Of Disaster.
According to Spin, Bloody Valentine is the first winner of Best Alternative since 1998, when Green Day scooped the gong for their mega smash Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life). Fair play then, Kells.
Unfortunately, the MTV VMAs Best Rock category wasn't quite as successful in terms of Kerrang!-backed artists, with Coldplay winning out against blink-182, Evanescence, Fall Out Boy, Green Day and The Killers…
Anyway, check out Machine Gun Kelly's awesome performance below:
