It was Lil Peep's memorial service this weekend. He was remembered by friends and family at an emotional event in his hometown of Long Beach, New York, on Saturday.
Here at Kerrang! we're keen to remember the good times in situations like this, so in that spirit, here's Lil Peep playing blink-182's Dammit at a show at Webster Hall, NY back in April of this year. Yeah, Peep naysayers, we know it's not a proper cover – it's Peep singing along to the recording of the song, a type of performance common at rap shows that serves to get the crowd hyped (although it's usually not a pop punk song that gets played!). And this crowd were definitely hyped, there are some solid stage-dives going down!
Good fun.
Unfortunately we're in a situation where we have to follow that video with one of his memorial service.
