Album review: Cult Of The Lamb – Hymns Of The Unholy
An all-star line-up turn the smash indie game’s futuristic soundtrack into sublime metal bangers.
Absolutely incredible.
Over the weekend, former Killswitch Engage frontman Howard Jones joined the band onstage to perform mega-hit The End Of Heartache.
During their support slots with the mighty Iron Maiden at London's O2 Arena this weekend, the metalcore heroes delivered the ultimate surprise in the form of a Howard collaboration – for the first time ever since his departure.
The now-Light The Torch frontman joined the band onstage on both August 10 and 11, belting out the absolute banger that is The End Of Heartache – taken from the 2004 album of the same name.
"It was rad to share the stage with him tonight and hear him belt out End Of Heartache! What a voice!" enthused KsE vocalist Jesse Leach after the first night's performance, before revealing Howard would be coming back for night two.
What a treat.
Earlier in the year, it was revealed that Howard would be recording a song with Killswitch for their new album.
Very exciting.
