HECK return with new single, Static Noise; Mozart
“Bang it loud,” say the returning HECK of their rowdy new single Static Noise; Mozart.
Wow. That escalated quickly…
We catch up with Heck after they obliterated our K! Awards Nomination Party
In the new issue of Kerrang! you can see some pretty hectic pictures of the Kerrang! Awards Nominations Party. Held on Tuesday (May 8) at the awesome London boozer Big Red, we invited Creeper, Heck and Muncie Girls to play before the noms were read out IN THE FORM OF A LIVE SEANCE… Heck – being Heck – absolutely destroyed the place. We caught up with Matt Reynolds straight after their set to try and calm them down…
You can watch the interview below…
Don’t forget, you can still watch the nominations being announced by our eccentric pal Count Baron Von Doctorbaron below, too!
The Kerrang! Awards will take place on June 9 at London’s Troxy with Justin Hawkins of The Darkness and Benji Webbe of Skindred taking to the mics to present what will be a night of pandemonium. On top of that, for the first time ever, we’ve teamed with Help Musicians UK (HMUK), the country’s leading music charity, for a ground-breaking partnership.
Not only can you be there, but you can also watch Asking Alexandria and more perform once all the partying is done! Head to the Kerrang! Ticket Store now to get your tickets to this once-in-a-lifetime event.
Talking about the 2016 event, Kerrang! Editor James McMahon says: “This year’s Kerrang! Awards nominations are the definition of strong. All Killer, No Filler as our 2016 Kerrang! Tour headliners Sum 41 might say. There’s no category you look at and think, ‘Yup, Guns N’ Roses are going to walk away with that…’, and I think that’s testament to just what a strong rock scene – globally, and closer to home – we exist within right now. Normally when I have to write quotes for press releases like this, I say something like, “OMG, I’m so excited about the night!” but to be honest, I just feel a bit sad about it. It’s going to be a bloodbath. Many brilliant bands are going to go home disappointed. I might start drinking now. It goes without saying, mind, that Kerrang! Is very, very proud to be surrounded by as much talent as we have been at any point in our 35 year old history. But yeah, definitely starting drinking now…”
