Dream State, Kid Bookie and more announced for returning Takedown Festival
“The line-up looks stacked and we are ready to shred the room to pieces!” Takedown Festival is back next April…
Following 2023’s A Feast On Sorrow, London metallers Urne will unleash Setting Fire To The Sky early next year…
Urne have announced their third album, Setting Fire To The Sky.
The follow-up to 2023’s brilliant A Feast On Sorrow, the London metal trio – vocalist/bassist Joe Nally, guitarist Angus Neyra and drummer James Cook – will drop the record on January 30, 2026 via Spinefarm. Teasing what’s to come, Joe simply states that, “I feel like I’m in Metallica in 1988 with what we do.”
They’ve marked the announcement by dropping new single Be Not Dismayed, with Joe explaining that he wrote the lyrics “after spending a few summers playing some of the best metal festivals around and seeing the buzz that fans would have by being there.
“On people’s faces, you could see they were experiencing pure elation, and I guess it took me back to that feeling I used to have going to shows. I clearly remember the feeling I had when I went to see Slayer for the first time at the London Astoria. I went through it all. In the end, it was the moment that set me on a path to where I am now.”
