More proof that Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun are taking over.
twenty one pilots have been revealed to be the fifth most wanted artist to play a UK festival this summer. BIG!
As if you needed more proof that Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun were taking over the world, the explosive duo have been named alongside the likes of huge mainstream acts Sia, Adele, Justin Bieber and Coldplay in Google Play Music‘s ‘streaming line-up’ survey. Lucky for us, then, that they’ll be hitting Reading & Leeds this August to prove just why fans want to see their incredible live show so badly.
These findings are based on music streams from 2016 so far, and calculated by looking at everything from the most streamed UK festival headliner, to what the most streamed festival line-up is.
Rory Woodbridge, Streaming Lead for Google Play Music in Europe, says: “People travel from all over the country and across the world to check out the music festivals here in the UK, and each year the line-ups give music fans a great flavour of the biggest and best acts around, whether they’re global stars or emerging newcomers. It’s been really interesting to put a microscope over the various line-ups and look at what the streaming data tells us about the festival season as a whole, right as it kicks off.”
