Tool Are Going To Teach You How to Play Their Songs

Tool are doing a music clinic tour: guitarist Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey and bass player Justin Chancellor are hitting 6 cities, beginning May 11 at the Myth Live Event Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The band (without Maynard) will hold an “intimate discussion of the inner workings of the band’s music,” discuss their writing process and explain how the band perform their songs live. 

The sessions will include an open Q&A session and a meet and greet. They're also bringing along a “traveling exhibit of unique memorabilia” for fans.

People take this band and their music preeeettttty seriously, so this will go down a treat, no doubt about it. 

Maybe their plan is to teach Tool superfans how to make new Tool songs so we don't have to wait so long for the next record?
