Fans have obviously freaked out about this post, which seems to confirm that 2019 will be the year we finally get a new Tool album...but there has still been no official announcement of the album so far.
Frontman Maynard James Keenan has already confirmed that Tool's new album will drop this summer, but that was of course after he falsely announced it would be out this April.
Talking to Kerrang! about his inherent impatience with projects, Maynard said, "It’s a balance. You have to understand what has to be done. There are certain things you have to push, and certain things you have to get through – shovelling through the snow on the driveway so you can get to where you need to be. And then you go and enjoy a movie or relax with your friends. But I can’t do that until I’ve put the work in.”
