Bloodstock 2025 weekend camping tickets have sold out in record time
Metal fans are already champing at the bit for next August, with Bloodstock selling out in record-breaking time…
Here's what Machine Head played on their epic Burn My Eyes anniversary tour
This year, Machine Head’s seminal debut album Burn My Eyes celebrated its 25th anniversary. Released way back in 1994, it heralded the dawn of a new age for ‘90s metal, as Robb Flynn’s signature barking vocals provided the soundtrack to metalheads across the world.
And, as you might expect, Machine Head were keen to mark such an important event with something special. Although the actual release date was in August, Machine Head have embarked on a celebratory Burn My Eyes anniversary tour of Europe with original drummer Chris Kontos and original guitarist Logan Mader.
“It’s a huge honor for me to take part in celebrating Burn My Eyes’ 25th birthday!,” said Logan back in March. “It’s hard to believe this is actually happening. I feel like I won the guitar player lottery… again. The fact that BME is still relevant today has a lot to do with the fact that Robb has kept the band alive and strong for two and a half decades. I’m very grateful for this!”

“This is an absolute mind blower! Playing these songs again after 23 years feels just amazing,” added Chris. “The fact that it’s 25 years later and the BME record is still relevant and revered is humbling to say the least. Doing a huge world tour in celebration of the record is a great way to acknowledge the legacy of Machine Head’s past and future.”
The tour kicked off on October 5 at the Sick-Arena in Freiburg, Germany, and will continue through Europe and into the UK and Ireland in November.
Here’s what’s in store for you lucky Machine Head fans. A whopping 25 songs across two separate sets, including two tracks that haven’t been played live since 2004. Yes please.
