One more song: Do we really need encores anymore?
Encores have long been an established tradition in live music, but are they really necessary? Scene Queen, Boston Manor and The Wonder Years reveal how their shows end by mixing things up…
'That's me in the corner…'
The Wonder Years have covered R.E.M.'s Losing My Religion ahead of their forthcoming U.S. shows next month.
The pop-punks premiered the track via Amazon Music, launching it on their Control Alt Repeat playlist.
“There are six of us in the band and so a quick consensus on anything can be a challenge, but when the opportunity came up to do a cover song of Losing My Religion, we quickly seized the idea,” the band say. “We spent a few days trying to find a way for our big, loud band to play a song that originally is based around a mandolin and found something that we were really excited to release for everyone to hear.”
Check out the Control Alt Repeat playlist below, or if you've got an Alexa-enabled device, ask: “Alexa, play Losing My Religion by The Wonder Years.”
