My Chemical Romance soundtrack the final trailer for The Umbrella Academy season four
Watch the final trailer for next month’s new season of The Umbrella Academy, soundtracked superbly by The End. from My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade.
Netflix have released some pretty impressive stats in their 2019 first-quarter earnings report.
Since its release earlier in the year, we've been absolutely obsessed with The Umbrella Academy on Netflix – the brilliant adaptation of Gerard Way and illustrator Gabriel Bá’s beloved comic-book series of the same name.
And, as it turns out, a ton of people have been feeling the same way – as confirmed by Netflix's just-released viewing data. According to the company, in its first four weeks on the streaming service, the series was viewed by approximately 45 million households (for comparison's sake, other big-hitters like Our Planet and Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened were viewed by 25 million and 20 million households respectively). Interestingly, a show or film has been "viewed" if at least 70 per cent of its total running time has been seen.
This is an absolutely incredible achievement – so congratulations to Gerard, Gabriel and the entire team behind The Umbrella Academy. It's good thing the show was recently renewed for a second season, eh?
