The Raven Age drop new single, announce 10th anniversary tour

The Raven Age have just unveiled a brand-new single, Hangman.

Arriving amid a busy summer of shows (indeed, the track got its live debut at yesterday’s massive Graspop Metal Meeting), guitarist George Harris enthuses that this newbie is a song that “I’m really looking forward to playing live. It’s heavy, but groovy and open – a super fun one to jam. To be honest, I wrote the riff when I should’ve been practising. I had a metronome going with the intention of working on some scales and other bullshit, but I ended up grooving along to this riff all afternoon and the rest of the song followed. Way more productive, if you ask me!”

Following Hangman’s release and their current live dates, The Raven Age will hit the road in November for The Monarchy Tour – A Decade Of The Raven King. Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, June 25 from 10am.
