The Pentagon Has Officially Released Tom DeLonge's UFO Videos

After the U.S. Navy confirmed ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’ in three videos released by Tom DeLonge's To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science back in September last year, things are really getting serious now with the videos being released by The Pentagon.

The three clips – FLIR1, Gimbal and GoFast, originally published in 2017 and 2018 – have officially been released "in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos," according to Pentagon spokesperson Sue Gough.

"After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorised release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems," Sue continues, "and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena."

Former Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada tweeted of the news: "I’m glad the Pentagon is finally releasing this footage, but it only scratches the surface of research and materials available. The U.S. needs to take a serious, scientific look at this and any potential national security implications. The American people deserve to be informed."

Naturally, Tom DeLonge was very vocal online following the videos' release, writing on Twitter: "With today’s events and articles on my and @TTSAcademy’s efforts to get the U.S. Gov to start the grand conversation, I want to thank every share holder at To The Stars for believing in us. Next, we plan on pursuing the technology, finding more answers and telling the stories."

When asked by Kerrang! at the end of 2019 if the U.S. Navy confirming To The Stars' videos felt like Tom had proved himself to people, the Angels & Airwaves frontman called it “a big deal”, admitting, “A lot of people asked me if I felt vindicated or validated, but I didn’t really. I’ve been brought into something that’s a little bit scary and unnerving, so I don’t really feel vindication; I feel compassion for those people that are going to have a hard time digesting this stuff. And my job is to help them digest it better.”
