Manchester has a reputation for producing great music, so it’s fitting that a festival which celebrates some of Britain’s best bands should return for its second year. On Friday September 29 and Saturday 30 September, The British Sound Project will be back at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse for two huge days of live music. On Friday Twin Atlantic, Deaf Havana, Mallory Knox, Band of Skulls (DJ set), Lonely The Brave, Fatherson and more will take to the stage.
Giving his thoughts on the festival, Steven Wood, who has co-organised the event, says: "Friday night at The British Sound Project is very much geared for an alternative rock audience – especially students who have just celebrated Freshers' Week, who'll be looking for new bands and sounds.
"Most music festivals are outdoors – but we wanted to create a festival under one roof and without the mud! If you get a huge crowd into Victoria Warehouse listening to music – like we did last year – it's amazing!"
If you are a student, you’ll be able to bag tickets at a special discounted rate of £20 with the below code, which when you think about it is a tiny dent in your student loan considering the bands on offer. Get yer discount tickets right here!
