The Amazons return with new single, Living A Lie
Hear The Amazons express an “anxiety about the future and a frustration with the past” on their new single, Living A Lie.

Two years on from their How Will I Know If Heaven Will Find Me? LP, The Amazons are back with a compelling and cool-as-hell new single.
Entitled Living A Lie, the track introduces a new era for the band, with the promise of some ‘exciting new activity over the coming months, into 2025’, according to a press release.
Speaking specifically about Living A Lie, frontman Matt Thomson calls the single “an ode to staring at the ceiling in the early hours of the morning – when little fictions turn into hard truths in the stillness of the night.
“We were working on a very different sound before Living A Lie. This song articulated a tone and a feeling that spoke to our lives in a way we hadn’t been able to access previously. An anxiety about the future and a frustration with the past.”
