Taking Back Sunday Reflect On Louder Now: "I Felt Like We're Really Doing It"

Continuing their series of album retrospectives, Taking Back Sunday are talking us through their landmark LP Louder Now. The record was named Kerrang!'s Album Of The Year in 2006 and gave us the likes of Spin, Twenty-Twenty Surgery and the guaranteed rock club floor-filler MakeDamnSure.

In the video below, vocalist Adam Lazzara remembers the release of Louder Now, and buying it from his local record store.

The band go on to discuss the importance and impact of working with producer Eric Valentine (Good Charlotte, QOTSA, The All-American Rejects), citing him as "one of the best rock producers there is."

During this time, Taking Back Sunday were invited to the VMAs, where they were sat behind the odd couple of Lil Wayne and Lou Reed, and Adam ended up having a cigarette with Justin Timberlake. A world away from what they knew.

The TBS guys continue to chat about appearing in Degrassi The Next Generation and knowing Drake pre-fame, before reminiscing about their subsequent tour, and knowing that was the moment they had actually made it.

Taking Back Sunday have just announced that they will perform debut album Tell All Your Friends in full on their upcoming UK and European tour. Get your tickets now.
