Kerrang! favourites such as Svalbard, Conjurer, A.A. Williams and more have been announced for a new Leeds mini-festival, The Wave Before The Kick In The Chest…

The artists will be joined at the Brudenell Social Club on Saturday, September 4 by CLT DRP, Coldbones, Gallops, Jo Quail, Pijn, Sang Froid and Witch Fever, with tickets going on sale for this awesome all-dayer tomorrow (May 21) right here.

"When I think about playing live again, a little hopeful smile tugs at the corner of my mouth," says Svalbard's Serena Cherry. "When I think about playing live at this brilliant show in Leeds, I grin from ear to ear – brimming with excitement. It's the kind of joyous smile that is reserved only for when you know a gig is going to be something truly special.

"I mean, just look at that line-up! It is an honour for us to share the stage with so many bands who continue to inspire us. I can't wait for Jo Quail to enrapture my heart with layers of cello; I can't wait for A.A. Williams to spellbind me with her haunting voice; I can't wait for Conjurer to give me serious neck ache.

"Most of all, I can't wait to play those opening notes of our set and be a part of an evening so awesome. See you at the front!"

"I'm really looking forward to this event," adds A.A. Williams, "it'll be a real pleasure to get onstage again. I think the return of live music will create such an emotional and euphoric atmosphere for both musicians and audiences. I can't wait to experience that at one of my favourite venues alongside some brilliant artists."
