It’s here! Watch the action-packed trailer for Stranger Things 5 and head back to Hawkins, Indiana for the fifth (and final, booooo) season, which is dropping in three parts towards the end of 2025.
Netflix have just unveiled the first official trailer for Stranger Things 5.
Having been revealing various teasers for the upcoming show in parts – first there were all the episode titles, then the release dates, and yesterday (July 15) we got a new poster – now fans can finally get a proper look at what’s to come from season five.
“The fall of 1987,” reads the synopsis. “Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished – his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.
“As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming – and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone – the full party – standing together, one last time.”
Volume 1 of Stranger Things 5 includes four episodes and drops on November 26, before three more episodes follow on Christmas Day as part of Volume 2. Then, the grand finale lands as a standalone epic on New Year’s Eve.
