After finishing their 2021 with a brilliant debut EP and their first-ever Kerrang! cover, Leeds post-hardcore stars-in-the-making Static Dress are kicking off their year with a new single, Di-sinTer featuring King Yosef.
With an accompanying video that takes fans to the very beginning of their hugely ambitious universe, Di-sinTer is yet another wicked full package from the band – and an exciting taste of what's to come, too.
Speaking to K! in December about Static Dress' DIY approach alongside their world-building creativity, Olli Appleyard explained: "I want to try to change the game from the ground up. I want to change it and be like, ‘Stop releasing your music in normal formats! Stop advertising and doing these Facebook-sponsored ads that suck and ruin everything which you’re trying to do.’
"But ultimately, I want to create a community from it. I want a place where people can share art and music and use this band as a platform so people can find other people like themselves and work together, to hopefully push individuality and creativity among people."
