Following their recent visit to the studio to work on their debut album, Split Chain have released the first fruit of their labours, banging new single I'm Not Dying To Be Here.

It comes in the wake of the Bristol crew's smash cover of Type O Negative's equally-joyously-titled I Don't Wanna Be Me, with the band declaring, “this song is a defiant anthem about breaking free from toxic relationships, no matter how deep the connection.

"It explores the internal battle of standing your ground when the person causing harm is a family member, long-time partner, or close friend. It’s a raw and honest reflection on the courage it takes to choose yourself, even when it means walking away from someone you once trusted.”

On top of this, they've announced a UK and Ireland headlining run for when they get back from their current U.S. tour with post-hardcore legends Silverstein and Thursday. Catch them at one of the dates below and get your tickets now.
