In pictures: The biggest, most jaw-dropping Aftershock ever
From Bring Me The Horizon’s final show of the year to Deftones’ epic homecoming, here’s what went down in Sacramento for Aftershock 2025.
Speed have just dropped Ain’t My Game, which is the opening track from next month’s ALL MY ANGELS EP.
Speed have revealed a brand-new single, Ain’t My Game.
Following recent track Peace, both are taken from the band’s upcoming three-track EP ALL MY ANGELS, which is due out on October 23 via Flatspot/Last Ride Records.
Ahead of its release, vocalist Jem Siow told Kerrang! that Ain’t My Game is a “song is born out of introspection. It’s about not being baited into the senselessness of certain values and politics which we, as human beings, can fall victim to. It’s about not feeling hateful or spiteful simply out of fear. It’s about knowing your values and understanding your path. It sounds like a cliché, but it’s been emboldened through experiencing mortality and recognising our [how easy it can be to waste time and energy being sucked in by all that bullshit].”
Speaking about the musical idea behind the outro, he explained, “We just wrote a samba style version of the chorus. We played it. I’m singing, too, just in a falsetto. And if you listen closely you can hear me playing the flute – it’s just a little Easter Egg for the fans!”
