Watch Soul Glo’s heavy and historic Tiny Desk Concert for NPR
See Soul Glo make history by being the first hardcore punk band to play NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series…
Watch the video for Soul Glo’s raging single If I Speak (Shut The F*ck Up) – their first new music since last year’s brilliant Diaspora Problems album.
Following last year’s monumental album Diaspora Problems, Soul Glo are back with a brand-new single.
Entitled If I Speak (Shut The Fuck Up), the new rager from the hardcore trio – vocalist Pierce Jordan, guitarist GG Guerra and drummer TJ Stevenson – also comes accompanied by a striking video, as well as an NSFW edition…
Speaking about the meaning behind If I Speak, Pierce explains that it’s a “song about channelling one’s voice and perspective through art or another creative expression. You can hear when people spend more time online than on their music. You can tell when people are more focused on a visual statement than a sound.”
Soul Glo hit the road with ZULU for a North American co-headline tour later this week. While you wait for those shows, watch the (censored) video for If I Speak (Shut The Fuck Up) below:
