Having just dropped two new singles, politix and we'll never b like u, and taking not one but two BIG BEX mascots along for her show at Download this weekend, BEX is actually BUSY BEX right now. And yet she still found time to take on 20 of the most searching and important questions in the universe…
1. What’s the best thing you can cook?
“Meatballs and pasta. Not spaghetti, always pasta – fusilli, the twisty one.”
2. What’s the best movie ever?
“I don't like movies. I just get bored. I get about 20 minutes in and I'm like, ‘Oh, I need a wee…’ But I quite liked the Barbie movie – there you go."
3. Who is your non-musical hero?
“Vivienne Westwood. Also my musical hero, even though she's not a musician.”
4. What’s your biggest fear?
“Failing.”
5. Dogs or cats?
“Dog. I have a dog, his name is Reggie, and he is the cutest.”
6. Would you rather fly or drive?
“I don't know how to fly, so drive.”
7. What's your favourite city?
“You've stumped me. I really like Sheffield. I've only been once, but I liked it.”
8. What was your first job?
“I worked in Sole Trader, the shoe shop, and got £4.20 an hour. It was great!”

“My hair's not actually red. It grows a different colour. Also, I am actually BIG BEX.”

“The intro. Specifically, the intro to Goin' Down by The Pretty Reckless, the one that starts with all the moaning.”

“Beach.”
13. What’s your least favourite food?
“Rice pudding. It's just puke, but white.”
14. Who would play you in a film?
“You.”
15. If you owned a pub, what would it be called?
“The BEX Arms.”
16. What's the best TV show ever?
“Gossip Girl or Gilmore Girls. I like them equally. It has to have the word ‘girl’ in the title. It's a girls’ world.”
17. What's the worst fashion idea you've ever had?
“All of them.”
18. What's the stupidest injury you've ever sustained?
“I was cutting a pair of jeans, and I cut my finger off with the scissors. A bit of finger fell off. I put it in my mouth and phoned my mum, like, ‘Mum, I cut my finger off!’ She went, ‘What do you want me to do?’ I just put the end in the bin. It grew back. Another time, someone threw a frog at me and I fell off a trampoline. Why did someone throw a frog? You tell me…”
