SOFIA ISELLA has announced a brand-new EP, Something is a shell, and revealed its haunting opening track Numbers.
SOFIA ISELLA has announced her latest EP, Something is a shell.
Due out on April 17, the release will include previous singles Out in the Garden and Above The Neck, as well as newly-unveiled opening track Numbers which you can check out below. A press release explains that SOFIA’s haunting latest song ‘takes on the dark underbelly of the Bible and sycophants who go to great lengths to defend it’.
Meanwhile, speaking with V Magazine, the 21-year-old says of putting together Something is a shell as a whole, “I had two experiences writing this EP. I was either having a hilarious time laughing alone very loudly in my dark bedroom, or I was crying in daylight in the back of a tour van with a guitar. The lyrics are some of my favourite I’ve ever written.”
