Slam Dunk’s giant first announcement for 2026 is here!

The festival – which is celebrating its 20th anniversary next year – will feature a European exclusive appearance by pop-punk royalty Good Charlotte, fresh from the release of August comeback album Motel Du Cap. “We are excited to come back and play the UK for the first time in seven years and to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Slam Dunk will be a great time,” they enthuse. “Kicking off this next chapter of GC in the UK this way will be a lot of fun and a great precursor for what is still to come! Some of our favourite shows in our career have been in the UK and this will be no exception!”

Elsewhere, Sublime will play their first-ever UK show, and there’ll be appearances from the likes of PRESIDENT, Bury Tomorrow, Taking Back Sunday (celebrating two decades of Louder Now), Dashboard Confessional, The Menzingers, Tonight Alive, Stand Atlantic, Motion City Soundtrack and even more.

“When I started the festival 20 years ago, I had no idea it would get to the milestone of 20 years, let alone be the size that it has grown to,” says Slam Dunk founder Ben Ray. “I am overwhelmed by the continued support for the event, both from the dedicated fanbase who come every single year, to all the bands that keep coming back to play. A massive thank you to all!”

Slam Dunk Festival 2026 takes place at Hatfield Park on Saturday, May 23 and Leeds Temple Newsam on Sunday, May 24.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, September 27 from 10am.
