Get ready, nu-metal fans: Sick New World is coming back!

Following its 2025 cancelation (due to “unforeseen circumstances that we are unable to overcome”), the fest is not only making a return in 2026, but coming back twice as hard: it’ll be taking place in its usual spot of Las Vegas, Nevada on April 25, but according to local billboards and teasers as well as the website sicknewworldfest.com, there will also be a Sick New World happening in Fort Worth, Texas on October 24.

This year’s scrapped edition was due to take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds – the same spot as When We Were Young – with Metallica and Linkin Park headlining, and everyone from Queens Of The Stone Age, AFI, Evanescence, Gojira, Acid Bath, Glassjaw, Mastodon, Refused and more on the rest of the line-up. Watch this space to find out next year’s official announcement…
