Following the release of the band’s first single Paradise in June, Shavo Odadjian’s Seven Hours After Violet have announced their debut album.

The SOAD man’s new project – which sees him joined by vocalist Taylor Barber, guitarists Morgoth and Alejandro Aranda, and drummer Josh Johnson – will be releasing their self-titled LP on October 11 via 1336 Records (Sumerian).

“This album is the culmination of years of creative exploration,” says Shavo, proudly. “With Seven Hours After Violet I wanted to return to my roots in heavy music but also bring something entirely new to the table.”

They’re showing just a tiiiiiiiny bit what Shavo means via new single Radiance, too, with the musician explaining of both this new tune and their debut single: “Radiance and its precursor Paradise are but a small glimpse of the intensity, musical diversity and emotion that run through this album.

“We can’t wait for everyone to hear it in full and to bring these songs to life onstage at our first live performance at Mayhem Fest.”
