See Royal Blood cover Hozier in the Live Lounge

Fresh from some killer 10-year anniversary celebrations and a mammoth set at Download subbing to Queens Of The Stone Age, Royal Blood have paid a visit to the Live Lounge.

The duo – Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher – and their trio of fantastic backing singers made a recent appearance on the BBC Radio 1 show to cover Eat Your Young by Hozier, the title-track from last year’s EP by the Irish singer-songwriter.

Good work, everyone!

In our massive review of Download Festival last weekend, we said that Royal Blood “relish playing in front of an audience that gets them a bit better than Radio 1’s Big Weekend”, and that, “their material sounds incredibly lithe whether they’re tearing through grittier old cuts such as Out Of The Black or Little Monster or the newer disco-infused Typhoons”.
