It looks like Rob Zombie will also have a House Of 1,000 Corpses maze at this year's Halloween Horror Nights.
Only this Monday, it was announced that Rob Zombie's 1998 solo debut Hellbilly Deluxe would be turned into a scare zone at this year's Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando. Now, the monster rock pioneer has also revealed that Universal Studios will bring back the haunted house based off of his 2003 cinematic debut House Of 1,000 Corpses, complete with new mazes.
According to Bloody Disgusting, the attraction will have two specific mazes to scare the piss out of attendees. The first is a walk through Zombie's infamous roadside attraction Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen, introducing guests to various serial killers including the maniacal Dr. Satan. The second is a tour of the Firefly Family homestead, filled with human remains, claustrophobic passageways, and Dr. Satan himself.
Check out a video preview of the mazes below:
Halloween Horror Nights begins September 6 in Orlando and September 13 (Friday the 13th, no less), in Hollywood. For more information or the purchase tickets, head to the Halloween Horror Nights website.
This is yet another insane event in what has proven to be a busy year for Rob Zombie. Not only is his new movie, 3 From Hell, coming out this fall, but he also has a new album in the works that, according to guitarist John 5, is “a monster.” If that weren't enough, Funko is producing a Pop! vinyl figurine of the dude, so it's safe to say he's closing out this decade with an enormous boom.
Rob Zombie is wrapping up the current leg of his Twins Of Evil tour with Marilyn Manson and Palaye Royale, so make sure to catch his live show at one of the remaining dates below:
