For months, Slipknot fans have been debating who the anonymous new percussionist actually is. The new member, affectionately known as Tortilla Man, was unveiled to the world in May alongside the video for Unsainted, and since then Maggots across the globe have been doing their best Sherlock Holmes impressions to try and identify the crispy faced one.
And now a new theory has emerged, courtesy of Redditor Les_Connelly. Posting in the Slipknot subreddit, Les believes Tortilla Man is actually Michael Pfaff – keyboardist for Clown's other band Dirty Little Rabbits.

Speaking to The Art And Span Show about the new guy, Slipknot guitarist Jim Root revealed that "The guy is a world-class pianist; he's a great percussionist; he is schooled in music. He's not just a garage musician who came up and learned on his own. He obviously had natural ability, but he took it to another level and actually got a degree in music. So the guy is next level."
Which caused Les to think it might be Michael.
"Michael Pfaff is a musician who was in a band with Shawn Crahan called Dirty Little Rabbits," says Les. "He played organ and keyboards and Shawn Crahan was the drummer. They had a very strong musical relationship and were the core of the group. They were even introduced to each other by Sid Wilson (the DJ from Slipknot)."
Continuing, he states: "He is a similar build, height and bald. Check out the videos below, I think he even moves like the new guy."
Les provided videos of Dirty Little Rabbits performing live in Manchester and Michael Pfaff playing Flight Of The Bumblebee on a marimba, plus photos of the band.
But then it goes deeper. User DO_YOU__ went full super-sleuth ad found who they believe to be Michael Pfaff's wife on Instagram.
"She is inactive since 2013, BUT she follows 4 accounts and 1 hashtag. 1 of the accounts is Slipknot. The hashtag?? #tortillaman," they say.
Sounds pretty plausible, but what do you think? Could Michael really be Tortilla Man?
