Rammstein Members Kiss Onstage In Russia To Protest Anti-LGBTQ+ Policies

Not for the first time, Rammstein have shown solidarity to members of the LGBTQ+ community in the more oppressive and anti-LGBT+ countries on their current headline tour.

At Moscow, Russia's Luzhniki Stadium on July 29, the band's guitarists Paul Landers and Richard Kruspe kissed each other onstage during the first encore's opening song Aüslander, showing defiance towards the country's well-known anti-LGBT+ laws. They then made even more of a statement after the show by posting a photo of the moment on Instagram with the caption, "Russia, We Love You!"

The important and powerful move follows their gig at the Stadion Śląski, Chorzów in Poland a week ago, in which frontman Till Lindemann rode across the crowd in a dinghy while waving a Pride flag, proving that, not only are Rammstein one of the best live bands on the planet regardless, they're also unafraid of spreading important messages in the places that need it most.
