Album review: Poppy – Negative Spaces
Poppy unleashes her heavy side once again on intrepid yet occasionally erratic sixth album, Negative Spaces
Poppy's I Disagree Tour will now hit the UK in December
After being forced to postpone her European I Disagree tour dates due to the COVID-19 crisis, Poppy has confirmed that she'll be coming back at the end of the year, with UK dates for December.
With a simple message of "I Disagree UK/EU tour is back" on Twitter, the star confirmed the new dates that should have happened earlier this year.
Released back in January, I Disagree saw the genre-free U.S. star making a noise quite unlike anything you've ever heard before, but one that's caught the ears of Deftones and Bring Me The Horizon, both of whom have taken her on tour.
“A lot of people who have written about the new music have said it’s metal and pop, but I think that’s because they like the juxtaposition of that,” she explains of the album. “I’ve never said my music is metal, but I do listen to that music. To clarify: post-genre. Or prog rock or pop. We’re turning a new page.”
