Poppy drops new single Knockoff, announces upcoming album Zig

Poppy has announced her fifth studio album Zig.

Due out on October 27 via Sumerian, the record – the follow-up to 2021’s brilliant Flux – is teased in a press release as both ‘tender and tough’, and containing electronic beats as well as ‘deep metal rock riffs reminiscent of early ’90s industrial sounds’.

It also features Poppy playing bass and guitar, while in the studio she worked with producer Ali Payami and long-term collaborator Simon Wilcox.
