It was a big night for Panic! At The Disco, Tool, Billie Eilish and Post Malone last night, as they all scooped gongs at the Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles. The ceremony took place at the city’s Dolby Theatre, with no audience, but featuring live performances and in-person acceptance speeches.

Tool earned themselves Top Rock Album for Fear Inoculum, while Panic! At The Disco had to say thank you twice – once when they got Top Rock Song for Hey Look Ma, I Made It, and again when they were crowned Top Rock Artist.

Billie Eilish, meanwhile, was named Top Female Artist, Top New Artist, and had her When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? album declared the Top Billboard 200 Album.

All impressive. But it was Post Malone who had such a big night that, by the end, he must have got bored of getting up, having got no fewer than nine awards by the time his taxi came to take him home. Among these was the prize for Top Rap Album for Hollywood’s Bleeding, on which he performed a duet with Ozzy Osbourne on the song Take What You Want. Post later appeared on the storming It’s A Raid, from Ozzy’s Ordinary Man album.
