When We Were Young Fest is on hiatus for 2026
Las Vegas emo and pop-punk nostalgia fest When We Were Young won’t be happening this year – but don’t worry, “This isn’t goodbye – it’s just a pause.”
"I hit a point when I realised I had to aim high and fail, fail, fail in order to keep growing…"
In a rubbish mood? Panic! At The Disco's brilliantly uplifting new song, High Hopes, will pick you up.
"I spent too long not setting my expectations high enough, worried about how it felt to fail," explains frontman Brendon Urie of the track. "I hit a point when I realised I had to aim high and fail, fail, fail in order to keep growing. This one is for all of you who helped me go for it all. I thank you."
High Hopes is taken from Panic!'s forthcoming Pray For The Wicked album, which is due out on June 22 through Fueled By Ramen/DCD2 Records – pre-order it here.
So, so, soooooo good:
The band will be performing at BBC Radio 1's Biggest Weekend in Swansea this month, as well as headlining Reading & Leeds in August.
