Arkansas doom titans Pallbearer will show how “true heaviness comes from emotional weight” on their upcoming album Mind Burns Alive.
Pallbearer have announced details of their new album Mind Burns Alive – the follow-up to 2020’s Forgotten Days.
The Arkansas doom heroes will be releasing their fifth full-length on May 17 via Nuclear Blast Records, and they promise that it’ll be something a bit different this time around…
“These songs are a deeper exploration of dynamics and sonic colour than anything we have done up to this point,” explains vocalist/guitarist Brett Campbell. “I’m of the belief that true heaviness comes from emotional weight, and sometimes sheer bludgeoning isn’t the right approach to getting a feeling across.”
