Oh Sees Release New Video For Heartworm

Los Angeles garage-punks Oh Sees are premiering their new video for Heartworm exclusively with Kerrang!.

Taken from the band's upcoming double-album Face Stabber, the video is an almost-hypnotic amalgam fo stock footage – from frolicking sheep to skydiving.

“The simple, visceral and relentless rhythmic structure of the song inspired me to organise stock video archives into small thematic groups – sneezes, things banging, robotic arms, etc – avoiding narrative in favour of a formal simplicity," says Joel Kyack, the man behind the video." The particular commercial quality of much of the stock footage, coupled with the barrage-style in which it is presented, conjures the contemporary existential assault suggested by [vocalist, John] Dwyer’s lyrics.”

Oh Sees' new album Face Stabber is released August 16 via Castle Face Records.

Shortly before, on August 9, they will play a show at Pappy And Harriets, Pioneer Town, California, with all profits going to benefit the East Los Angeles Women's Center.

Later in August, the band head out across Europe before a US tour.
