Album review: Me And That Man – New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Vol.2
Behemoth mastermind Nergal returns once more to his dark country guise as Me and That Man…
Nergal has spoken to Kerrang! about the plans for his Me And That Man project
Nergal has revealed plans to return to his Me And That Man project later in the year.
Speaking to Kerrang!, the Behemoth frontman discusses plans after the upcoming tour and summer festival run, and it sounds like Nergal has more music up his blackened sleeves.
“I’m definitely gonna do some sessions with Me And That Man, my other project, we’re in a stage of writing new music, so let’s see how it goes," he tells Kerrang!.
"I’m planning on having the record out next year. It’s taking time, I’m not rushing."
Releasing their debut album in 2017, Me And That Man was the dark country project featuring Nergal and British-Polish musician John Porter. John departed the band in 2018. In an interview with uDiscover Music at the time, Nergal said "it wasn't the easiest collaboration in my life." There's been no word yet on who could be replacing John Porter.
Behemoth touring the UK next month with At The Gates and Wolves The Throne Room.
