Rancid, Pennywise, The Bronx and more on new Motörhead punk tribute album

Details have been announced about a new Motörhead punk tribute album, Killed By Deaf.

The 14-track record is due out on October 31 and will feature covers by the likes of Rancid, Pennywise, The Bronx, GBH and Fear, as well as a previously-unreleased collab between Motörhead and The Damned, doing 1977 classic Neat, Neat, Neat (you can hear that below now).

“The punks loved us,” said the late, great Lemmy. “The only reason we weren’t in that lot was because we had long hair, so obviously we must be heavy metal. That was the thinking. But a lot of kids heard us without seeing a picture, so they thought we were a punk band.”
