Mike Shinoda has shared news of a collaboration with the Dutch DJ Martin Garrix.
The track, Waiting For Tomorrow – which also features multi-instrumentalist Pierce Fulton and Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson - was originally teased in a series of clips by Garret in December 2015 and was shelved temporarily while they each concentrated on other projects.
"A few years ago, I started a song with Martin, who came to the studio in LA while we were recording One More Light," explains Shinoda in a post on Instagram. "In the following weeks, he was in preparations to headline Ultra Festival for the first time, and we agreed he should play the unfinished version of the song as a surprise. But afterwards, as the year unfolded, life took us in other directions, and the track remained unfinished...until now. Shout out to Pierce Fulton and Brad Delson for their participation on this special track."
Waiting For Tomorrow is out now through all major streaming outlets.
