Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, KISS, Korn and many more for Welcome To Rockville 2022
Danny Wimmer Presents’ 2022 festival season will kick off with Welcome To Rockville in May – and they’ve delivered on their promise of ‘biggest line-up yet’…
Bassist Dave Ellefson sets the record straight about the band's opening slot on their upcoming tour.
When it was announced that Megadeth and Five Finger Death Punch would tour Europe together early next year, fans rejoiced -- but some people responded negatively upon finding out that FFDP would headline, and the thrash titans would open for them. Now, bassist Dave Ellefson has spoken out about the running order, and he's being a mensch about it.
Talking to radio personality Danny Stoakes, Dave said, "The Five Finger guys have been good friends of ours. We've seen 'em come up the ranks behind us. But they're doing great. They're very successful. They worked very hard. Their success is every bit deserved for them. And I think it's kind of cool.
"Normally, we come over [to Europe] and we do the festivals," he added. "We've been looking at ways to headline or do some kind of a package tour that gets us much more penetrated across Europe instead of only doing the festival circuit. And I think it's a good way to do it.
